English vocabulary test Week 42

Hello, 6a and 6c!

I would like to remind you that you will be having a short vocabulary test on Tuesday, 15 October on the "George's Marvellous Medicine" words I gave you in Week 41.

In Week 42, we will continue with our work on strong adjectives and writing descriptive sentences and paragraphs.  We will continue to read from George's Marvellous Medicine and we will look at another language video of Ashlie and Stephen from the British Council's "Word on the Street".

In Week 43, we will be looking at Hallowe'en vocabulary to get into the spooky season!

Between Autumn Break (Höstlov) and Christmas, we will have a listening test and a writing test to show what you have learned so far this term.  I will post more details of the dates and what to study in the next few weeks.  Keep up the good work and practise, practise, practise your English as much as you can!
